Card 'Beterschap'

This is a 'get well soon'-card for a dear friend, who visited hospital recently.  I made this card with the  Penny Black stamp 4181K 'words like flowers'. I stamped the image with Ranger Archival Ink (waterproof, acid free and permanent) in the color sepia. Unfortunately the flowers of the stamp did not stamp perfectly, so I colored the heart of the flowers again with my chalk stamps (don't now the brand). I used a brush to color in the flowers, with several colors ranging from iceblue to violet/purples. Pleased with the effect, I decided to color in the whole card with the chalks. Then I added a few drops of homemade silver ink spray.  Next I added a few turquoise/silver stickers - flowers and butterflies, 'Beterschap' (= get well soon in dutch) - I once bougth in a sale. I glued the top of the card on a lilac mat and then on the turquoise card. Finally I drew a fine line with a Paper Mate purple Ink Joy pen 1.0 M.
On the inside of the card I glued also a lilac mat, and added some smaller flowers and a few butterflies, but made sure I had enough room on the mat to write a message to my friend.  This mat I also lined with the purple pen.

The source of this  image is 'De Katholieke Illustratie', tweede jaargang, 's Hertogenbosch/Amsterdam, 1868-1869, page 28. Title: 'De zorgen des levens' (The worries of life). Right click on the images to download/save. Enjoy!

I made this .jpg picture with my Foarhinne Friday Freebie as a Goodbye to the last summer roses.

My very first video and junk journal

Yes, I'm back again. I have moved to another house this summer, so I have been very busy painting and decorating my new place and I did n't have as much time for crafting.
But now I 'm settled in I'm back on track!

Lately I'm quite into journaling. Here is my very first video with my first junkjournal. Please let me know what you think.
